There’s something special about dining in Annapolis. Maybe it’s the boats drifting through Ego Alley, the walkable streets lined with historic buildings, or the way every meal seems to last a little longer when you’re by the water.

It’s a city built around gathering, and that’s exactly what makes it feel like home for Atlas Restaurant Group.

With the opening of Marmo Italian Chophouse and Armada Dockside Cantina inside the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, Atlas is expanding its footprint in a city it has proudly been part of for years. Joining sister restaurants The Choptank, The Admiral’s Cup, and Boatyard Bar & Grill, these two new concepts bring fresh flavors and new experiences to one of Maryland’s most beloved waterfront destinations.

While each restaurant has its own identity, they all share the same goal: creating memorable places where great food, genuine hospitality, and the character of Annapolis come together.

Inspired by Italy, Made for Annapolis

At Marmo, Italian tradition serves as the foundation.

The menu celebrates the craftsmanship that defines Italian cooking, with fresh pasta made in-house daily, premium dry-aged steaks, pristine seafood, and timeless recipes that let exceptional ingredients shine. The standout Squid Ink Campanelle, prepared with fresh blue crab, uni cream sauce, chili, basil, and toasted breadcrumbs, has quickly become a signature of the restaurant, while dishes like the Lobster Fra Diavolo and the Paccheri with clams, mussels, calamari, and tomato showcase the bold coastal flavors found throughout Italy.

For those craving the classics, the Chicken Parmigiana and the Veal Chop Milanese deliver the kind of comforting, nostalgic Italian dishes that never go out of style. Prepared with the same attention to quality and tradition as the rest of the menu, they’re the familiar favorites that bring people back to the table time and time again.

Just as memorable as the food is Marmo’s thoughtfully curated wine program. Showcasing producers from Italy’s renowned wine regions alongside exceptional bottles from around the world, the list was designed to complement every meal while encouraging guests to discover something new. From crisp whites paired with fresh seafood to bold reds alongside dry-aged steaks, every bottle has been selected with the menu and the experience in mind.

A Taste of Mexico Along Ego Alley

Just next door, Armada Dockside Cantina brings a completely different energy to the waterfront.

Inspired by the coastal regions of Mexico, Armada celebrates bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and the spirit of gathering over great food and drinks. The menu highlights traditional Mexican techniques with a waterfront twist, featuring dishes like Baja Fish Tacos with crispy fish, cabbage, avocado crema, and salsa verde; Tuna Tostadas topped with fresh ahi tuna, avocado, and chile-lime flavors; and shareable favorites like Queso Fundido and Guacamole made for the table.

Heartier dishes bring the warmth and depth of Mexican cuisine to the menu, from Chicken Tinga Tacos featuring slow-braised chicken and smoky spices to the Carne Asada showcasing bold flavors from the grill. With fresh seafood, housemade salsas, and coastal flavors throughout the menu, Armada brings the spirit of Mexico to Ego Alley through dishes designed to be shared, enjoyed, and paired with time spent by the water.

Behind the bar, Armada’s tequila and agave program is every bit as exciting as the food. Guests can explore a thoughtfully curated collection of tequilas and mezcals, whether they’re enjoying a classic margarita, discovering a new sipping tequila, or exploring an agave spirit they’ve never experienced before.

It’s the kind of place that invites you to stop in for one drink after a day on the water and stay for dinner as the boats cruise through Ego Alley.
