Back where it all started!
Seeing a void in the Harbor East neighborhood for office workers to get a sandwich or slice of pizza on their lunch break, Alex Smith opened Harbor East Deli, which is where he got his first experience with staffing, inventory, payroll, scheduling and more.

Greek gets an upgrade.
After Harbor East Deli had a couple successful years, Alex Smith set his sights on his first fine-dining restaurant just a block away with Ouzo Bay Mediterranean Kouzina, which paid homage to his Greek roots.

Atlas is official.
With more concepts being planned for the future, Atlas Restaurant Group is officially established as the corporate entity that will oversee all properties.


Sushi is never the same.
Atlas Restaurant Group opens Azumi in Baltimore’s Four Seasons Hotel and forever changed the sushi landscape of Baltimore.

A perfect formula.
Overlooking Baltimore’s picturesque Inner Harbor in the Four Seasons Hotel, the original Loch Bar location had the perfect formula of seafood, whiskey, live music and a beautiful outdoor patio.


A Best Bar in America, 2018.
The Elk Room’s innovative cocktails and dedication to the craft of mixology landed it on Esquire Magazine’s list of Best Bars in America in its first year of operation.

Instant classic in Little Italy.
Opened in the shadow of Baltimore’s Little Italy neighborhood, Tagliata becomes an instant classic with Chef Julian Marucci’s menu of hand-cut steaks, fresh rolled pastas, housemade charcuterie, and a bounty of fresh seafood that is paired with the largest wine list in Baltimore.

Shhh....
Atlas opens this members-only private cigar club and there has been a long waiting list ever since.


The crown jewel.
The Bygone is Baltimore’s grandest can’t-miss destination with breathtaking city views from the 29th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel and a luxurious ambiance.

Old-school infusion.
Italian Disco’s infusion of old-school flavor and modern energy makes it a memorable neighborhood pizza joint with a classic Italian menu created by Chef Julian Marucci.


Warm welcomes.
Sunshine and seafood are a match made in heaven at Loch Bar in Boca Raton’s upscale Mizner Park. South Florida’s clientele welcomed this concept with open arms as Atlas dipped its toes in an out-of-state market.


The great outdoors.
Seeing a need for more outdoor dining destinations around Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Atlas introduces Ouzo Beach. This relaxing oasis of style and entertainment is the perfect complement to Ouzo Bay with its Mediterranean villa-inspired interior where you can unwind with delightful cocktails and delicious light bites while listening to a live DJ.

Houston, here we come.
Located in Houston’s posh River Oaks District, Loch Bar Houston becomes the third location of this classic seafood tavern and finds immediate success with Texas’ whiskey lovers.


Reviving a family favorite.
The redevelopment of this property meant a little more to Atlas’ Alex Smith as he has fond childhood memories of walking through Broadway Market every Sunday morning with his grandfather. Atlas invested over $4 million to renovate this 200-year old public market into a classic fish and crab house, while maintaining the historic characteristics of the building.

A fourth at the Four Seasons.
Maximón, Atlas’ fourth and final property in the Four Seasons Hotel, pulls inspiration from Mexican and South American cuisine and includes one of the largest tequila and mezcal menus in Baltimore.

Our farm to your table.
Atlas Restaurant Group’s agricultural venture, Atlas Farms, is committed to creating a true farm-to-table experience as a fully sustainable, organic farm. Atlas Farms supplies our restaurants with local produce and eggs on a daily basis.


Et voilà!
The Atlas Quarter welcomes Monarque, a French steakhouse known just as much for its incredible food as it is for the extravagant entertainment ranging from burlesque dancers and contortionists to jazz bands and sword swallowers.

Keeping the music going.
Atlas acquires The Admiral’s Cup, an iconic Baltimore landmark that has been known for hosting local musicians for decades. A new third floor bar is introduced and hosts DJs every weekend.


This way to the roof.
After a complete renovation of Cross Street Market in the Federal Hill neighborhood, Watershed opens as an anchor restaurant tenant complete with an expansive rooftop deck. This Maryland seafood house serves the region’s signature dishes, including steamed hard-shell crabs.

Located in historic Cross Street Market, Atlas Fish Market is a classic fish market that supplies the community with fresh seafood options. Many of your favorite seafood items sold at various Atlas properties can now be purchased at this location.


New in the neighborhood.
Atlas’ first venture into Baltimore County was Perennial, located in the heart of Towson. Chef Jay Rohlfing’s menu is steeped in American tradition and highlights seasonal ingredients.

The most important meal.
Atlas acquires Cunningham’s Cafe & Bakery which is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Towson offering a wide variety of house made breads, pastries, and an outstanding selection of coffee, espresso, and teas.


A piece of history.
Atlas’ expands further in the Fells Point neighborhood with the purchase of Waterfront Hotel, which is the second oldest brick building in Baltimore. Atlas also completely renovates the second floor and adds a large music venue to showcase local and national artists.

A landmark in good hands.
For decades, The Valley Inn has been a popular bar and restaurant in Baltimore County with a variety of indoor and outdoor dining spaces making it the perfect county meeting spot. Atlas acquired this landmark location in January 2022.

Growing in the county.
Stretching their county footprint further into Maryland’s scenic horse country, Atlas acquired The Oregon Grille and briefly closed for construction. The premiere steakhouse set in a luxurious 19th century stone farmhouse reopened for service in January 2023.

Houston welcomes another.
After the success of Loch Bar in Houston, Atlas opened Marmo in the Montrose Collective. Similar to its sister-restaurant Tagliata, Marmo features a menu of hand-rolled pasta, house-made charcuterie, and hand-cut prime steaks.


About that view...
Located in one of Maryland’s best waterfront locations, The Choptank Annapolis is on downtown Annapolis’ famous “Ego Alley." This classic fish & crab house serves Maryland’s famous cuisine and includes a spacious waterfront deck and rooftop with plenty of seating so you can watch the bustling neighborhood and docks that surround you.

Irish hospitality returns.
After its unfortunate closure due to the covid-19 pandemic, Atlas re-opened James Joyce Irish Pub in Harbor East after it was shuttered for two years. Baltimore happily welcomed back their favorite Irish pub known for traditional Irish fare, draught beer and live Irish music.

The gameday spot.
Known as the pre and postgame hub for Ravens and Orioles games, Atlas opens Market Ale House as Cross Street Market’s central bar featuring a rotating list of craft beers on draft.

Shaking things up.
Located adjacent to Market Ale House, Cross Street Cocktails is the perfect complement concept to Market Ale House providing the Market’s guests with handcrafted cocktails and crushes.

At home in the nation’s capital.
Atlas takes on the nation’s capital with the opening of Parlour Victoria which is located in a historic 19th century townhouse in the middle of Washington D.C.’s bustling City Center. Parlour Victoria is a sophisticated seafood tavern highlighted by one of the area’s most impressive raw bars.

Twice as nice at the Moxy Hotel.
Atlas’ second property in Washington, DC is Lucha Rosa, a Latin American-inspired concept located on the rooftop of the Moxy Hotel with views of the Washington Monument.

Big splash in a new city.
The fourth Loch Bar concept will open on the ground floor of Philadelphia’s impressive Arthaus building located just down the street from City Hall in bustling Center City.

Atlas will open a world-class American steakhouse in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood. The Ruxton will be designed with the elegance, detail and grandeur of the Jazz Age.
