Atlas Restaurant Group’s much-anticipated steakhouse opening in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood will be called The Ruxton. This 200-seat classic American steakhouse will open in the former Fleming’s Steakhouse space in Fall of 2023 adjacent to the lobby of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, Baltimore’s flagship convention hotel.
Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.

The Ruxton will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week and will be adjacent to Atlas’ new world-class cocktail bar and lounge.

A Robust Selection
Expertly paired with the classic steakhouse food menu will be The Ruxton’s wine list highlighted by an exhaustive study of the heritage regions of California, including Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast, Sta Rita Hills and Santa Barbara. There will also be a large focus on the wines of France, Spain and Italy.
Jazz Age Design
The interior will feature rich, walnut wood paneling and trim detailed with brass, onyx and palomino colored suede wall coverings. The banquettes, draperies and walls are fashioned in emerald green velvet. Hanging from the wood coffered ceilings will be custom made, Murano style blown glass chandeliers.
