Investing in a city or neighborhood is more than just opening a new restaurant. It means positively impacting the community for years to come through participation, cooperation and volunteerism.
As one of our Core Values states, we are an integral part of our community with a diverse and inclusive mentality towards hiring and hospitality. In addition to our monetary donations and support for hundreds of organizations and charities, Atlas leaders and employees are encouraged to participate in volunteer opportunities that are organized by our organization, such as neighborhood cleanups, grocery giveaways, youth mentorships, and much more.
Our annual investment focuses on three main areas:

Atlas employees volunteered in the call center during the annual Mix 106.5's Radiothon accepting donations benefiting the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

Atlas volunteers spent their day at the Special Olympics of Maryland Golf State Tournament where they assisted with athlete escorting, scorekeeping, skill stations and more.

The Choptank Annapolis team hosted the “Cooking With A Cop” event where they taught children and police officers some cooking tips.

On an annual basis, we are proud to volunteer and provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need within our community. It’s our way of giving back and showing gratitude for all the support we've received throughout the year. Special thanks to our dedicated team members and local partners who help to make this happen.

Our teams across the company come together to participate in Earth Day activities. We gather in parks, along beaches, and other community spaces to collect trash and litter. We've also enjoyed beautifying public areas by planting vibrant spring flowers. Our employees always look forward to rolling up their sleeves and helping to clean up our communities on this day.

Our Dine to Donate week raised over $17,000 for Baltimore's TasteWise Kids organization that offers children fun ways to learn about food and inspire a lifetime of positive, healthy eating habits.

The Loch Bar Boca team spends their time cleaning up the beaches in the South Florida community.

Atlas donated state-of-the-art bikes to help the Baltimore Police Department protect our communities more efficiently.

Our partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation provides our employees with unique volunteer opportunities, including building oyster reefs that will eventually provide food and shelter for marine life.

When a community pool wasn't going to open for the summer due to a lifeguard funding challenge, Atlas stepped in to cover the cost of lifeguards for the entire summer.
