A restaurant group and police organization are teaming up to help those working for the Baltimore City Police Department.
The Signal 13 Foundation and Atlas Restaurant Group distributed turkeys to officers and BPD civilian workers.
“We thought it was a great way to thank police officers and the people who work within the department for the hard work that they do throughout the year. They’re protecting the citizens of Baltimore. They’re protecting the businesses of Baltimore. So, we wanted to say ‘thank you’ to them,” said Nancy Hines, CEO of the Signal 13 Foundation.
More turkeys will be handed out to officers and civilian workers of BPD at the police union’s headquarters.A restaurant group and police organization are teaming up to help those working for the Baltimore City Police Department.
